I have been thinking the same.
Why on earth do you need super posh Chromebook with i5 processor and 8gig ram as you don’t run Adobe Premire or Photoshop.
However, the fact I almost forget about Chromebook is it runs Linux and it can run Python (at least Chromebook’s Linux includes Python by default).
Then I hit the idea of using Chromebook as mobile crutter free development or data science machine.
That’s what super high spec (note: compare to my Lenovo C330, which I use to post this story) Chromebook is for.
Maybe I’m wrong and clever Samsung people think about different usage…
