I’m not afraid of COVID-19 but I am, in a sense
The huge second wave of COVID-19 tides to Europe. Here in the Netherlands is not an exception.
Dutch government decided to apply “Partial Lockdown” (in Dutch, “Gedeelende Lockdown”) few weeks back.
It is not strict as the lockdown in April around (so-called “Intelligent lockdown”) but restaurants and cafes again went back to takeaway only business and sport activities are strictly restricted.
I’m 39-year-old basically healthy male (basically means I have no particular health problems such as high blood pressure, cholesterol etc.).
If you pay attention to the news regarding this new disease, I am not in the risk group. So I am not particularly afraid of this for myself.
(I understand there’re many different opinions, disagreements for this disease but not going to be talking about it here. statistically only 9 people out of 7142 in my age group in this country)
However….
I am afraid of it in slightly different context.
1.Although you are quite light or even no symptom you and people who has close contact with you are going to 2 weeks quarantine.
It means once I have got COVID-19, me and my family, friends who unfortunately met me recently are to be tested and…
