The famous Ming-chi Kuo suggested the redisigning the hardware of new MacBook Pros, reportedly to be 14/16 inche variants

It includes removal of Touch bar (ok it is understandable), more ports (really ? although Apple took the effort of put everybody into USB-C world ?), and re-inetall MagSafe charger.

MagSafe ?

would be natural to ditch Touch bar. It is too controversial to set as default.

I would not be so sure if they really install other ports than USB-C since USB-C gradually enable to connect everything by one cable. It might be the case to add SD card slot (I love this idea!) as M1 can save some space inside because of its coolness.

But MagSafe. It’s 2021 and everybody starts accepting USB-C is a charging port.

I reckon new MagSafe for Mac must be Apple version of Surface connector.

I love the idea of Surface connector. It’s magnetic (easy to clip on and off), it can charge, connect to display, transfer the data.

One cable can do everything with nice magnetic touch.

If Apple releases New MagSafe with Apple dock (with many legacy ports also), it would be great. Are you listening, Tim ? lol
