Surface Duo 2023
Not fast enough but the form factor is still unbeaten.
Surface Duo is still staying on the top of my EDC list.
Although, it has almost outdated hardware, I can’t replace this small booklet type device with anything else.
So what’s the usage of Surface Duo in 2023?
Here’s the short list.
Light works for the business
Create or reply to email messages and communicate with colleagues, check office files and sometimes even modify a bit of it. Android version of Microsoft Office products work quite well with the dual screen device.
I can use a full screen keyboard to write relatively long messages, reply to the questions by referring to an excel report in the other screen, or having Teams call while opening presentation slides. Of course it’s a bit slow but still good enough to do some of those while I’m not in front of my computer.
Reading ebooks
Is still the perfect device to read ebooks. Maybe I’m old but holding the duo like small booklet makes me be in the book very well.
